My Story

My name is Aqui Greadington, and I am a classically trained chef, entrepreneur, and community leader. I find immense joy in channeling my creative energy to innovate in the kitchen and to expand consciousness through food. I love what I do because it allows me to live authentically and fully while feeding and inspiring others along the way.

I began my culinary journey at a very young age, cooking alongside my dad. Growing up in the South, everything was fried and flavorful. Those hot summer days in the kitchen or over the grill with my father taught me the fundamentals of cooking and revealed how deeply culture and identity are woven into food. In a previous life, I was a high-ranking business sales professional, traveling internationally and earning awards and big bonuses. But when my dad fell ill and passed away from cancer, none of that mattered anymore. It was in that space that I realized food is one of the core sources of joy that makes me feel truly alive.

This realization prompted me to leave the corporate world, enroll in culinary school, and apprentice in professional kitchens—immersing myself in new ingredients, techniques, and culinary traditions. Today, I am grateful to blend all my life experiences with my imagination as a private chef and entrepreneur.

I proudly represent Queen Street LLC, a business that offers corporate and private catering, a line of premium tomato jams, and my self-published cookbook, Spring Aqui: A Harvest Celebration in 3 Plates. Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about me. Pull up a seat, get comfortable—we’re just getting warmed up!
